What is a Biathle?
A Biathle is a fun, continuous multisport race that combines running and swimming — no breaks, no transitions between stages. It’s an event designed to test the participant, making it an exciting challenge for athletes of all ages and abilities.
A typical Biathle format follows this sequence: Run – Swim – Run
The Biathle Evening Series will run on the 14th of every month from May through to August from 6pm-8.30pm
Dates: Tuesday 14th of May, Sunday the 14th of June, Tuesday the 14th July & Friday the 14th of August
Time: 6pm-8.30pm
Evening Schedule
6.10pm Biathle 1 800m-100m-800m
6.40pm Biathle 2 1200m-200m-1200m
7.20pm Biathle 3 1600m-400m-1600m
Competitors start with a run in Sandford Park, dive straight into Lido for the swim section, and then transition immediately back into the final run in Sandford Park to the finish line.
